Glossary
If the reader happens to come across any terms that are either unknown or used in an unusual manner, this is the first place to check when seeking clarification. If a specific word or phrase (or unusual usage of the same) can be found neither here nor in a dictionary, please forgive our oversight and contact the webmaster at your earliest convenience.
- Age
- Noun: A variable length of time describing the seperate phases of development of common, anthromorphoid mortals on the majority of worlds. Each Age begins with a specific, historical event and ends with the next such event.
- age
- Noun: A single Hellish "month", measured by the "rotation" of the Second Tier Hells relative to both the mortal plane and the higher Hells. Equal to 37 cycles.
- Avatar
- Noun: Traditional- a god in the flesh, or mortal form.
- Noun: In Earth's Modern Epoch it is the name that the demihuman offshoots of homo sapiens sapiens take for themselves.

- Noun: The Universal Singularity, the Zeroth Paradigm. The point at which all things cross.

- Adjective: High on Cherry-Bomb.
- bomber
- Noun: Cherry-Bomb addict
- Cherry-Bomb
- Noun: A street drug. Also: "Bomb", "C-B" (the dash is always spoken as in, "C dash B")
- cycle
- Noun: A single Hellish "day", measured by the "rotation" of the First Tier Hells relative to the mortal plane and the other Hells. Approximately equal to a lunar year.
- Drogaer (droh-GARE)
- Noun: Hellish native. What popular fiction would consider a "devil". The original ruling class of Hell, deposed by Lucifer and the rebel host.
- Epoch
- Noun: A variable length of time describing the lifespan of what is effectively a world, beginning, generally, with the close of the previous Epoch and ending with, generally, a catastrophic event that causes the extinction of the dominant life-forms in every ecosystem. Such an event, in a word, resets evolution so the world may be born again.
- era
- Noun: The Hellish equivalent of a Human year. Equal to six hundred sixty-six cycles, eighteen ages, or one "rotation" of the Third Tier Hell.
- kova
- Noun: A female (va) child (ko) in the Hellish common tongue.
- kovun
- Noun: A male (vun) child (ko) in the Hellish common tongue.
- marrhun (mar-RUNE)
- Noun: Literally "birth abandonment" in the Hellish common tongue.
- mutant
- Noun: Generic term for Avatars. Considered derogatory by most Avatars. The variant, "mutie", is considered to be an insulting term by all Avatars and a large portion of the Natural population.
- Natural
- Noun: In Earth's modern Epoch refers to humans (homo sapiens sapiens).
- Noun: In the Game, refers to any mundane member of any Race (unaugmented by genetics, cyborganics or any other means).
- Necronite
- Noun: The Chosen of Mhr'Azakel. Unliving followers of the Titanic god of death.
- Super
- Noun: A Super-Powered Being, regardless of origin.
- Super-Powered Being
- Noun: A Super-Powered Being, or SPB, is, according to the government of the United States, an individual whose abilities are beyond those of the peak of Human perfection.
- Noun: In Game terms, an SPB is defined as any individual whose abilities are beyond those of the peak of Race-specific perfection.
