The Vorg IRAQ -

Infrequently or Rarely Asked Questions

WTF? An IRAQ? What are you, a bunch of terrorists or something?
From last to first:  That is blatantly racist; one's actions, not country of origin, make one a terrorist. Yes, an IRAQ; as nobody seems to have questions for us, we could not realistically have a list of Frequently Asked Questions, now could we? Lastly, wtf does "wtf" mean.. oh, wait, nevermind... but don't use that sort of language around here.
Are you kidding me?
No. We are deadly serious and should be taken in such a manner. Not only that, we are listening through your computer's microphone and, should you utter even the smallest of chuckles while viewing this web-site, the code that makes your computer explode will be activated.
Why should I care about this crappy site?
You shouldn't. Leave. Now.
Now I know you are kidding.
Maybe.
Oh, okay then.
That wasn't a question.
You aren't funny.
To each, their own.
Is this just some elaborate joke?
No.
Prove it.
First, we wouldn't waste the kind of time we dedicate to the Vorg on a joke. Second, if you are still convinced this is some sort of gag, leave.
That isn't a very nice attitude.
Our site. Don't like it? Get lost.
Okay, sheesh. Seriously, what is the point of all this? You guys seem pretty committed and opinionated.
We are both, yes, although all thinking persons are opinionated. If one had no opinion, one would, therefore, have no will of one's own. And the point of all this is twofold:  First, or contributors are practically victimized by an artistic vision they are compelled to share, and the Vorg provides a means to that end. Second, We want to make the world a better place.
Pretty high opinion of yourselves?
Yes.
That takes a lot of gall.
No, just rampant egomania and a good dose of old-fashioned idealism.
Are you all idealists?
No. Even the most idealistic of us is fairly cynical. The world, in its current state of affairs is not a nice place.
So, what?
So, that sucks. It needs to change.
Yeah, right.
We can hear you laughing, and you should not, for we are deadly serious. This world, humanity, and the society it has constructed are in danger of total annihilation. Yes, the planet would go on, and no, the Universe would not notice our absence from it any more than you, the reader, notice the skin cells you shed every day. We believe that the trend towards destruction can be halted. We believe that humanity is worth saving.
Wow. That's, like, deep dude.
We of the Vorg are as deep as a mirror:  All depth perceived is but an illusion.
Um, okay... So, what are you Vorgians going to do about it?
Tell people there is a better way and try to help them see that there is hope for the future. And don't call us Vorgians.
Why not?
Good question. "Because we said so" is the answer.
Whatever. What makes you think you know better than the world's leaders:   heads of state, holy men, captains of industry?
Because we aren't in it for the money.
That's a pretty narrow-minded and pessimistic world-view, isn't it?
No. It is a realistic one.
Ouch.
Yep.
So, why Vorg?
Why not?
I mean, "What does Vorg mean?"
Oh. See the Vanity page for that sort of thing.
All this stuff is really free?
For individual use, yes. We would appreciate crediting the artist responsible for work one might take from this site.
Can I use it any way I want?
Sure, as long as you are neither getting paid for it nor claiming our work is your own.
Can I become a Vorg contributor?
Absolutely! Follow this link to begin the lengthy interview process.
How "lengthy"?
Really, as long as it takes. The founder claims to be reasonable and supposedly encourages interested individuals to contact him directly, but please don't send unsolicited submissions.
Oh, I get it. Big talk about dedication to the arts but my work doesn't meet your lofty expectations! You suck!
Aw, don't be that way. Firstly, realize that inboxes only have so much space and image files, etc., can be absolutely huge. Second, don't assume we do not care about your art or that we would not be interested in experiencing it. We do have lives, however, or reasonable facsimiles there-of, and could not possibly look at every piece ever produced by the world's population in our lifetimes. If, by chance, your work is already online, we would be more than happy to provide a link to your site, as long as you reciprocate. That way your work would still be accessible from the Vorg without you having to apply for contributorship (is that a word?). We of the Vorg are likely too cool for you, anyway.
You guys are pretty full of yourselves, huh?
And?
And I don't think I like you any more.
Fine, leave.
Fine!
Oh, yeah? Well, we get the last word and laugh because this is our site, so nyah! Heh heh ;-)
