The Firmament
The Second is an infinite plane that bisects all reality. Where it divides it and what, exactly, lies on either side is a point of great debate in the Higher Spheres. Those who claim to be experts in such matters claim that all beings pass through the Second at some point in life, the effects of such transversal being the subject of even more heated debate. Very little is, or can be known, about the Second Paradigm save that it has what could be defined as a shape, but no depth, and, in the absence of time, has been as it has always been. One could accurately say that the Second is a sort of celestial equator, dividing Universe into equal halves. If it truly has a purpose, it is unknown to any that dwell in the Known Paradigms.
